Our approach is simple: have fun, stay focused and keep shooting... Learn More About Jon EvansAfter attending a wedding, the topic of conversation often turns to the special occasion for many weeks to come. Who attended the wedding, the venue it was held at, the food and drink, the music, the pleasantries exchanged, and the steady trickle of joy that comes with being part of a social event reminds us later that it was the greatest wedding that we have ever been a part of.
Who you danced with, what band was playing the songs that you love, was the location beside a lake or on a yacht – every detail is embedded in your memory. And these memories stick with you for a long time, constantly reminding you how great an evening (or day) it was.
Setting all feeling aside, weddings are remembered for the sheer grandeur of the arrangements made in terms of food, drink, music, location, and the overall ambience. People spend large sums of money to make the memory of one day last a lifetime. Although weddings are planned with the guest’s desires in mind, they are all personal and based on the creative abilities of couple that's getting married and their families. Variety is being added to the music, the way you dance, along with the food and decorations. Jugglers, fire-eaters, magicians, stand up comedians and professional bands have all entered the scene of what we come to expect at a 21st century wedding.
Musical Entertainment
When most people think of wedding entertainment, they think of the music. Live bands, wedding DJs, solo wedding musicians, solo wedding singers, and wedding music ensembles all comprise the wedding entertainment scene. Depending on the mood and atmosphere of the day, these performers can be hired to perform. While many DJs have music that is predetermined by the people that planned the wedding, often times they'll take requests from the guests at the wedding as well.
Musical entertainment can also be hired in terms of a live bad or solo act. A pianist playing your favorite music while the guests enjoy the delectable food can make for a very soothing evening. Or you may want your guests to dance to such music as Latin, swing or even rock n' roll. A Jazz or Cover band would give a more sophisticated feel to the occasion. As far as live music entertainment is concerned the band selection offers choice across the spectrum that include Country, Cover, Dance, Jazz, Latin, Motown, Oldies, Reggae, Rock, Steel Drum, Swing, Top 40, and time periods of the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s bands.
While live music entertainment limits the music to a particular genre once the selection is made, a DJ offers a mix of whatever you want, from any era, any musician and any song. You should make up your mind to what tune you would love your guests to enjoy and dance to, whether slow and romantic, or hip and exciting. Regardless if it's going to be Louis Armstrong’s ‘What a wonderful world’ or a romantic Whitney Houston song, the results are that your guests will be left with an unforgettable wedding experience and memory to hold on to for a long time.
